Job/Internship Description

The Advanced Purchasing Specialist Intern will witness a global organizations operational dynamics as part of a global team. The intern will be exposed to CNH Industrial internal cross-functional activity and decision making, as well as management of external suppliers and customers. 

  • Support Engineering on Prototype Builds (Supplier quoting, negotiation, expediting, etc)
  • Current product warranty and technical cost reduction activities
  • Benchmarking activities (vehicle, commodity families, etc)
  • Support new program launches
  • Special Projects to support Advanced Purchasing colleagues
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related degree area
  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective communication and organization.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Understanding and ability to use Project Management skills
  • Technical background with ability to interact with Design Engineers on Special Projects
