We are currently looking for a Analytical Chemist of Cosmetics to join our growing team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop methods for analytical tests, equipment, chemical analyses, procedures meeting established standards and industry requirements.
• Analyze test samples utilizing HPLC, UPLC, LC, and other appropriate instrumentation.
• May assist in overseeing work conducted by Lab technician or assistants.
• May assist in troubleshooting out of specification test results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a BS in chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience performing analytical or chemical testing on cosmetics and personal care products highly desired.
• Knowledge of current CTFA/PCPC, AOAC, USP, and other industry standard methods and procedures.
• Must be familiar with Agilent HPLC, UPLC, Chem station, LC, GC, TLC, HP-TLC, Spectrophotometer, Titration, pH, conductivity and other chemical equipment, techniques and programs required for nutritional and vitamins assays/tests.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an analytical laboratory. 3+ years of experience is preferred.
• Computer literate. Be able to work with Microsoft programs such as word and excel, ability to utilize search engines, and create spreadsheets, etc
