We're looking for a full-time, staff MarketProject Engineering Manager, Industrialto join our Day & Zimmermann team.

Manages all or part of the engineering scope of an engineering project within market sector. Provides direction and oversees the Engineering and Design leads multiple projects. Responsible for the execution of engineering deliverables including the engineering schedule, budget, document controls and resource management. Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines. Interfaces and reviews work with client, management and project leads.

* Oversees large to mega projects in market independently including engineering efforts for programs including but not limited to ensuring proper specifications and documentation, permit support and design. Ensure proper execution of all suppliers/contractors and provide technical assistance as necessary. Owns estimate and budgets and review expenditures to control costs. , etc

* Support project schedule development. Evaluate milestones for technical, equipment and documentation deliverables

* Ensure construction interface coordination. Support the RFI/DCR/FCR process.. Coordinate requests and requirements for on-site engineering support. Obtain scoping on master documents for Commissioning. Coordinate transfer of redline documents with responsible engineer

* Leads department and organization leaders to plan, develop, recommend, and implement approved rules, regulations, and administrative department policies. Interfaces with customers to ensure proper specifications and resolve technical issues. Manages the development of the proposal/project technical approach, risk assessment/register as well as assumptions and clarifications

* Establishes office goals and objectives for review and approval as appropriate. Plans work schedules for assigned personnel and provide technical guidance as required. Evaluates work in progress and initiate corrective measures to accomplish established goals and objectives

* Define services to be provided including deliverables in alignment with RFQ or RFP. Define and/or clarify DOR. Define points of interface. Provide guidance in defining project technology/technology providers. Define key technical deliverables (e.g., GA, site layouts, and one-lines). Develop and interpret Project Design Data (e.g., site conditions, temperature extremes, and seismic design). Provide input to the procurement/subcontract plan

* Experience in effective project management, execution and project procedures, including cost estimation and budgeting. Ability to supervise and lead Engineering resources and the completion of projects. Knowledge of technical engineering requirements of clients, regulations and governmental guidelines

* Strong organizational skills for multiple projects

* Exhibits both technical breadth and depth of subject engineering curriculum. Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of various engineering disciplines and is able to effectively communicate complex technical requirements and concepts to engineers and non-engineers

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite applications, and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages. Able to work in AutoCad and Bluebeam. Experience usign Revit a plus

* Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Engineering from a ABET accredited college/university, or acceptable school to the State Board of Engineers for licensure as a professional engineer

* 15+ Years including 10+ years in Project Engineering or Management of Engineering Projects, preferably in EPC Projects

* PE strongly preferred

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $148,960 - $223,440. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
