Job Summary |
The Division of Student Affairs at Auburn University is seeking candidates for Recreation & Wellness-Competitive Sports to assist in the oversight of educational and recreational opportunities for students, faculty, and staff provided by the university's intramural and club sports program (competitive sports). Auburn Recreation and Wellness boasts over 40 acres of both natural and artificial playing surfaces for Intramurals and Club Sport events. Auburn Competitive Sports offers ~20 leagues and tournaments for year-round opportunities for students, faculty and staff to participate. Why Should YOU Choose Auburn University?

Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Recreation Administration, Physical Education, Business, Exercise Science, or related field. Level I - Bachelor's degree Level II - Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in sports or recreational programming working in a collegiate/community recreational environment. Level III - Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience in sports or recreational programming working in a collegiate/community recreational environment. Substitutions allowed for Education: 8 years of experience in sports or recreational programming working in a collegiate/community recreational environment accepted in lieu of education requirement. Substitutions allowed for Experience: Graduate degrees accepted in lieu of experience for advance levels, at a rate of one year relevant education per year of required experience. |
