Job Description

Assistant Manager of Human Resources

Franklin Township Public Schools, a diverse, suburban K-12 district that actively
promotes the values of acceptance, respect & affirmation in its pursuit of
excellence is seeking a dynamic individual to assist in overseeing all functions of the Human
Resources Department. The Assistant Manager of Human Resources shall collaborate in operating an
effective and efficient 5 member service-oriented HR department. Department responsibilities
include but are not limited to managing recruitment, onboarding, benefits, Leaves
of Absences, HRIS Systems management, Absence management system,
Workers Compensation, Teacher Certification, preparation of Board personnel
report and participation in negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Holds a BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resource Management or Educational Leadership.
  • Must have 3 years of successful school district experience in the business and/or human resource office.
  • Demonstrate effective management, problem-solving, organizational, human relations, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and work collaboratively and effectively with staff, students, parents, and other school district constituencies.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze a situation accurately, and adopt and implement an effective course of action.
