U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Part Time General Maintenance Mechanic for its location in West Chester, PA. The Maintenance Mechanic is a fully functioning position primarily in the general building trade area (light plumbing, bulb changing, drywall repairs and painting). This position's focus will be on performing preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing / troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing a variety of facilities related repairs, and minor fabrications.

*salary based on experience

Tasks may include maintenance, repairs and assisting the Building Engineer, as well as other duties assigned.

May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Qualifications:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience performing general building maintenance.
2. Ability to prep, paint, and touch up surfaces.
3. Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair and troubleshoot equipment.
4. A demonstrated history of being a dependable and cohesive team member.
5. Complies with all company safety regulations.
6. Reports any issues to the project manager.
7. Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
8. Follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients.
9. Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
10. Uses equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
