Job Description

The RSM Operations Support Coordinator role supports our Retail Service Merchandising department, vendors, and our employees. This role will be responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by communicating with field staff, generating reports, data entry, and a variety of other sales support duties. The RSM Operations Support Coordinator position will also be responsible for assisting with project management and coordination between multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide internal support and guidance to field employees and customers
  • Coordinate with several departments, including but not limited to Buying, Customer Service, Distribution Centers, Customer Development and internal field teams, on various projects and initiatives
  • Assist with project management for field and internal departments
  • Create, maintain, and communicate schedules and milestones for field projects; ensuring goals are met while problem-solving issues and understanding when to escalate for additional support
  • Ensure a timely and professional response to incoming inquiries
  • Advise on company information related to field operations
  • Administrative tasks - data entry, database maintenance, electronic filing
  • Enter and maintain order information into company systems
  • Collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
  • Effectively maneuver through multiple system screens, utilize available departmental tools/information, and request assistance as needed
  • Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by your supervisor

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, and prioritize with exceptional organizational skills

  • Service-oriented with a history of building excellent customer relationships
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • High technical aptitude for systems and data - high proficiency with Excel and other data analytic systems/software

Experience and Credentials

  • High School Diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service and/or administrative experience
  • Experience working within hardlines, consumer products-related industries (retail, wholesale, and/or grocery channels preferred)
  • Project management support experience preferred.
  • Experience and high proficiency in computer & technical skills - Microsoft365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and web browsers like Google Chrome. Advanced excel skills highly desired.
  • Experience and proficiency in technical and ERP and other system skills - preference of knowledge and skill with NetSuite
