Summary of Job:

The Senior Product Manager, Patient Marketing, Rare Disease is responsible for the creation and implementation of patient promotional plans and material assets designed to achieve US sales objectives. Responsibilities will include developing promotional programs and materials for both Patient Marketing and Patient Services within the current US Rare Disease indications, X-Linked Hypophosphatemia and Tumor Induced Osteomalacia. The position will be responsible for managing execution of the patient speaker ambassador program and serving as liaison with the Digital Center of Excellence (COE) for Patient Marketing. These responsibilities will involve working collaboratively with cross functional matrix teams, managing external agencies and ensuring the alignment of stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Director, Patient Marketing in developing and implementing patient and caregiver marketing strategy and tactical planning for the XLH and TIO disease states.
  • Leads the development of Patient Marketing unbranded and branded program design and support materials aligned to the XLH and TIO patient journey.
  • Leads the patient ambassador speaker program including planning, execution, program analysis/evaluation and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with Patient Services to plan and develop patient programs and materials to assist in supporting patients.
  • Along with the Director, liaison with the Digital COE to plan and execute creative assets for digital media channels and social media.
  • Assists with managing the branded CRM program executed through Patient Services collaboration.
  • Participates in primary and secondary market research developing actionable program measurement, patient insights and appropriate interventions.
  • Ensures the implementation of tactical plans within associated budgets and project timelines.
  • Ensures a productive and cost-effective relationship with external agencies and partners.
  • Ensures consistent patient messaging is maintained across patient channels both online and offline.
  • Ensures key promotional programs are managed effectively achieving KPIs on time and on budget.
  • Responsible for the submission and review of promotional pieces to the Promotion Review Committee (PRC) and ensuring a smooth and compliant process.
  • Ensures close collaboration with Patient Services and Patient Advocacy to identify and address key areas of need within the patient journey including addressing patient and caregiver barriers.

Job Requirements:

Education

Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical (preferably rare disease) patient marketing, consumer marketing or patient services marketing experience
  • Experience in submitting and obtaining approvals with a Promotion Review Committee (PRC).
  • Excellent social competencies and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to build and cultivate relationships within internal and external networks.
  • Strong operational skills and project/ timeline management capabilities
  • Detail-oriented and excellent follow-through.

Technical Skills

Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Physical Demands: Normal office environment with prolonged sitting and extensive computer work. Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions: Requires up to 10% domestic travel. Remote position with occasional on-site meetings.
