  • Make an Impact! As a Therapy Aide II, you will ensure the patients' schedules and insurance information is correct so the patient can concentrate on working towards recovery. You will perform routine tasks related to the operation and support of the Physical Medicine Department including clerical duties, environment of care maintenance, and patient related activities. You will perform patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling for therapies. Additional responsibilities will include: assisting in provision of physical therapy and occupational therapy services with the direct, in sight, on premises supervision and direction of a licensed PT, PTA, OTR/L, COTA, or SLP including individual and group sessions and patient transport.

Position: Therapy Aide II, Collegeville Outpatient
Shift: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Experience:
1. Computer skills adequate to perform job required tasks.


Education:
1. Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties required.
2. High school diploma or equivalency required.
3. Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. Healthcare Provider Current CPR is required on hire
2. May be required to have Lifeguard certification
