Job Description

As a Quality Engineer at Purolite, an Ecolab Company, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Create, review, and implement operating procedures, work instructions and other quality-related documents.
  • Subject matter expert in no less than one discipline of validation (e.g. process validation preferred).
  • Work with Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams to implement and execute validation programs.
  • Prepared precise and timely reports as required.
  • Worked with Manufacturing Site Quality group.
  • Participated in Deviations/ Investigations/ Non-conformances / CAPA
  • Clean Room gowning

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or related field with strong Chemistry component and fewer than two years of experience.
  • For Equipment plants, degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 3 years Quality (QA and/or QC) experience in a GMP environment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related scientific field.
  • Capable of executing Validation using equipment such as Kaye Validators or similar.

Experience:

  • Hands-on broad validation experience.
  • Work knowledge of validation programs in areas of Cleaning, Analytical, Equipment, Process, Environmental, and Computer Systems.
  • Experience with GxP Systems (ETQ, Trackwise, Veeva, SAP).
  • Prior experience supporting audits performed by regulators and customers.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance requirements for pharmaceuticals: 21 CFR Parts 210/211, ISO 9001, ICH and other standard requirements
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, Adobe.
  • Clean Room Experience
