Kelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych. The ratio of patients to nurse is six to one, and we staff at least three critical care technicians (CCTs) on North and South side for patient care support. Also to support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments.
Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.
1 year or more patient care experience in a similar role.
AHA Basic Life Support certification
Must successfully complete EKG and Phlebotomy training during orientation.
