Endoscopy Lead Technician

Position Summary

Deliver a safe and patient-focused environment for procedures as an Endoscopy Technician .In this role, you will be a trusted member of the patient care team. You will assist with procedures and provide Nurses and Physicians with key observations. You will play a key role in our Hospital's mission of Putting Patients First. Escort patients to procedures, assist with care planning, maintain and order equipment supplies, and be the driving force for safety. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Must be capable of performing tasks that require dexterity, coordination, strength, flexibility, endurance, as inherent in normal assignment

Superior customer service and excellent communication skills

Preferred Criteria

One year experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Gastroenterology (GI) Technician or Assistant

Previous experience processing instruments and assisting in Endoscopy procedures

Endoscopy Technician certification

GENERAL INFORMATION

Night shift, weekends, and holidays on call is required
