Party Host, Part-Time, Easton, PA

Starting hourly rate of $14.00/hour, must be available to work weekends.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Party Host is responsible for providing parents and party guests exceptional guest service from start to finish. This position will handle the set up and break down of the party, cater to guests needs during the party room time and communicate with the party parent to ensure operational excellence.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads and facilitates all aspects of the party during the party room time to provide a memorable experience.
  • Sets up of the party room in a timely manner to ensure party runs on time.
  • Professionally communicates with the party parent throughout the duration of the party.
  • Serves food and drinks to all party guests.
  • Cleans up of party room after completion of the party and throughout the day as needed.
  • Updates order with any additional items added to the party - including additional guests or food items.
  • Maintains a positive and engaging attitude from check- in throughout duration of the party.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Ability to handle minor guest concerns and involve management if necessary.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and understand cash registers and cash handling procedures.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Must have retail sales experience and capable of working with the public in a retail environment.
  • Position requires physical duties involving regularly lifting fixture parts and cartons weighing up to 40 pounds.
