Job Summary: The Global Finance Capability Director will manage the EBS (Ecolab Business Solutions) solution deployment preparation, execution and stabilization activities in deployment markets and businesses for the Finance Capabilities and integration points. This role will manage the global EBS team of finance business and SAP experts. Responsible for driving the Finance SAP deployment process, ensuring the use of the global ERP template were ever suitable. This responsibility covers all EBS Capabilities of Finance and the integration points to Commercial Finance and Supply Chain. Collaborate close with our SAP Support, Enhancement and small projects teams at the EDC.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Finance global process owner and stakeholders to govern the global template. Drive for process automation and capability innovation in close alignment with the business. Prepare the path for the move of EBS to S/4
  • Global Finance ERP template governance responsibility in close partnership with the Finance business leadership through the EBS capability model in driving business process optimization opportunities
  • Identify, manage, and resolve global template issues in alignment with the global ERP governance process in liaison with the SAP Platform and Support team
  • Manage the engagement and communication process with market deployment finance business and EBS leaders. Actively drive the site go-live readiness process
  • Identify, manage, and resolve global template issues in alignment with the global ERP governance process
  • Support deployment change management, security, training, and communication efforts
  • Partner with Capability Team leads to identify and provide career development opportunities for team members
  • Provide day-to-day team leadership and management of deployment Capability Team Leads and/or team members ensuring quality of team deliverables
    • Partner with Capability Team leads to identify and provide career development opportunities for team members
    • Coach, develop, and manage performance of team
    • Oversee deployment team resource allocation
  • Partner with Global RMO, Deployment Wave Business/EBS lead to identify and select the right Finance team deployment resources internal and supplemental external talents

Location and Travel: St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL based, 40% global travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated strong people leadership skills in a global environment
  • Degree in business, finance or related. Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of functional/business experience in related area
  • 5+ years project management and leadership experience in cross-functional projects
  • Broad and multi-year proven experience in the Finance space, Commercial Finance background and SAP experience preferable
  • Willingness to travel upwards of 40% for deployment and team leadership related activity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Process/capability understanding of Finance and ideally Commercial/Supply Chain Finance business processes
  • Extensive project management, planning and methodology knowledge with ability to perform in a matrix environment
  • Experience dealing with time demands, incomplete information or unexpected events
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with ability to gain buy-in across the organization to multiple stakeholders
  • Experience leading high-performance, business oriented global teams that have a sense of urgency, a focus on results, and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to collaborate closely with the ETS Platform Owners and/or other ETS pears
  • Excellent global people leadership skills
