About the role

Position Description:

The Field Services Technician I is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure indicators, pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools.

Responsibilities:

* Handle, package, and transport Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.

* Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader, and specialty vacuum equipment.

* Complete critical path documentation, including manifests, driver logs, job summaries, and permits.

* Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.

* Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.

* Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma / GED required.

* Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travelin a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.

* Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.

* Valid state driver's license required.

* Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.

* Effectively work in a team setting.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to pass a respirator fit test.

* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.

* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
