Acara Solutions has an opening for an FMI Operator for Alstom Transportation in Philadelphia, PA.

Purpose of the job:
Implement modifications on the Rolling Stock units in order to enhance its reliability.

Key accountabilities:
  • Implementation of modifications according to the modification file following state-of-art and best practice
  • Ensure validity and certification of relevant tools
  • Populate relevant modification follow-up data base
  • Guarantee information flow within the field modification team
  • Perform quality self-control
  • Respect EHS rules and any work-related processes
  • Performance measurements:
  • Respect of timeframe for modification implementation
  • Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification
  • Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes


Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Graduated from high school or higher
  • 2-5 years' experience Technical knowledge, either mechanical or electrical / electronics
  • General railway and Product knowledge
  • EHS knowledge
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Autonomous
  • Teamwork capacity
  • Ability to read and understand schematics drawings and software's specifications
  • Ability to perform field modifications with expected quality level
  • Knowledge in using relevant information system
