  • High School Diploma
  • Previous healthcare office experience including scheduling and registration
  • Good computer skills using Windows products and e-mail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Under the supervision of Site Supervisors, coordinates scheduling and registrations of all patient therapy appointments utilizing on-line system
  • Checks-in all patients, on the correct encounter, arriving and informs appropriate party of their arrival using the AeCis system
  • Coordinates with the clinicians to verify the schedule is accurate and full and communicates schedule changes and issues
  • Responsible for all aspects of facility communications, e-mail, fax, and telephone
  • Communicates with all patients with the highest level of customer service, helps all patients with any issues
  • Responsible to verify all patients have a clearance for their therapy session prior to their appointment and places patients on the clearance list every month during the creation of the new encounter
  • Responsible for staying up to date on insurance, network and procedural changes and policies
  • This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) all ages in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. (statement must be included for all positions that require regular patient contact)

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
