Job Description

Works to align business objectives with employees and management in designated divisions and acts as consultant on human resources#39; matters. The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is an experienced and trusted partner who provides HR guidance and employee and labor relations subject matter expertise to divisional leadership, managers, and employees in promoting and fostering of a fair, positive, and collaborative working environment. In collaboration with divisional management and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), the Senior HRBP contributes to the development, implementation, and management of HR and employee and labor relations strategies, philosophies, processes, and programs to ensure the achievement of divisional and enterprise wide-initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
  • Acts as an expert consultant on divisional human resources and employee relations matters and serves as an employee champion and change agent to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • In conjunction with divisional management and COEs, provides specialized application of HR policies, processes, programs and initiatives within their division to monitor impact and effectiveness and promote and foster a fair, positive, and collaborative working environment.
  • Objectively and expertly resolves high-risk and sensitive employee relations matters within a Just Culture framework, by developing and supporting strategy development and completion of large, complex investigations, data collection and corroboration of facts, and recommendations for resolution within their division to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Manages and Maintains advanced knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Jefferson Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of all HR policies, practices and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness. Identifies and evaluates areas of improvement utilizing data analytics, knowledge of leading practices and technology to achieve and deliver higher quality HR products and services.

Required Experience, Education, Certification(s), License(s)

Bachelor#39;s degree required; Master#39;s degree strongly preferred, or an additional 2+ years of experience in lieu of Master#39;s degree; additional license, registration, and certification as required; 7+ years of related management experience required. Prior hospital HRBP experience strongly preferred.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
