Description
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to residents of NOVAIII utilizing Evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Maintain respectful and trauma-informed interactions with all residents, staff, family members and visitors at all times
2. Partner with individuals to develop their treatment/recovery goals in relation to their medical, psychiatric and substance abuse disorders
3. Facilitate and document three to four group therapy sessions per week
4. Develop and revise as required individualized treatment/recovery plans based on participants' goals for case load of up to eight individuals
5. Evaluate residents' progress and reports to funders/referral sources as requested through authorization/re- authorization reviews
6. Facilitate and document individual sessions with assigned individuals at least once weekly
7. Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluation for new residents
8. Assists in residents' aftercare planning and follow-up
9. Participate actively in clinical case conferences as a member of the individual's support team
10. Provide clinical guidance to nursing and support staff
11. Provide crisis intervention as needed
12. Attend staff meetings, shift meetings and clinical supervision as assigned
13. Other job related duties as assigned
This is a full-time Tuesday-Saturday position

1/2 paid at successful completion of 90 days of employment, remaining 1/2 at successful completion of 180 days employment**

Requirements
Required Experience
Experience in leading therapeutic groups
Experience working with individuals with significant trauma histories
Ability to understand and function within a trauma-informed environment
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
A valid driver's license is required
EHR experience a plus (AVATAR)
Required Education
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field or currently completing a Master's program in said field (with a minimum of two years completed). OR;
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field with a CADC
Required Qualifications
A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
