Job Description
Renewal by Andersen has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join our team in the Lehigh Valley, PA area!
The Field Service Technician will provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance service on RbA products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Service and repair previously installed RbA products
· Analyzes customers situations, determine corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation is as efficient and cost effective manner as possible; keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken
· Follows established Renewal processes, making recommendations for process improvement
· Keeps service area neat and organized; inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed; provide detailed information to Customer Service Representatives.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- REQUIRE 2 years of experience in residential construction with a focus on window and door installation.
- Experience working with precision measuring tools down to the 1/16th an on inch
- Experience as a service technician or carpentry skills.
· Valid driver’s license with the ability to lift over 100LBs and use a ladder on multi-story homes.
- Ability to install a window or door from start to finish, including trim work.
- Highly organized with the ability to reflect empathy toward our customers with a HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to details and ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Computer skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to listen and take positive and constructive customer feedback, analyze feedback and report findings and/or · recommendations to manager.
