Staff Nurse Pay Rate:

$16.00/HR


Staff Nurse Open Shift:

  • Monday-Friday Flexible Schedule (AM or PM 20 Hours)


Office Technician Position Summary


The Office Technician reports to the Director of Targeted Case Management Services. The Office Technician will be responsible for overseeing all data entry, scheduling, filing, management of personnel rosters and participant clinical records. The office technician works with the office manager provides an administrative support for the overall case management unit, but does not carry a caseload. Reporting to the Director of Targeted Case Management Services, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring the programs operational effectiveness.

Office Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission. Specifically, support better outcomes reporting, information flow and management, business processes and planning.
  • Supports program operations by maintaining office systems alongside office technician. Maintains office services by organizing office operational procedures, monitoring and processing invoices, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Establishment of relations with DBH/ODP, referring agencies, and external service providers.
  • Assistance to the LTSR Program Director in ensuring program and facility compliance with all internal and external policies, statuses, and regulations.
  • Active engagement in resident advocacy with internal and external programs and social service agencies as indicated.
  • Communicates effectively with program management in a timely manner of issues or concerns.
  • Assisting with timesheet preparation for payroll processing.
  • Assistance with staff schedule as assigned.
  • Maintenance of personnel files, including documentation of qualifications, physical, TB screening, Hepatitis documentation, and training.
  • Reviewing, analyzing and preparing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends in TCM productivity by tracking personal goal plans of members.
  • Processing of purchase orders as assigned by LTSR Program Director, LTSR Program Assistant, and Nurse Manager.
  • Management of assigned fiscal responsibilities and ensuring that accurate records are maintain and entitlements secured. Liaison with COMHAR's fiscal department as needed.
  • Assist LTSR Program Director with collecting data from daily communication sheets and entering the units of service for billing.
  • Participation in Quality Improvement Program through the attendance of monthly team meetings, communication with the Consumer Satisfaction Team and assistance to the LTSR Program Director with all incident reporting.
  • Coordinate the purchasing of birthday gifts for residents.
  • Complete data entry, Create tracking tools, supply, and equipment management.
  • Track and organize medical records storage.
  • Ability to perform and conduct safety screenings.
  • Attendance of internal and external meetings as required.
  • Other duties reasonable and related to this position as directed by related supervisors.

Office Technician Skill Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of an organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient with office software
Requirements

Office Technician Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma with five (5) years of related experience.
  • Associate degree in human services and three (6) years of related experience.
  • Valid PA State Criminal, FBI (based on residency outside of PA), Child Abuse clearances.
  • CPR w/AED & First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Clearances must be updated every 3 years per COMHAR policy.
  • Valid driver's license required. (Must be able to move about COMHAR service areas throughout the day to provide appropriate oversight and coordination and meet job duties as needed and required.)
  • Physical examination including Hep B screening & TB test.
  • Proficient with office software
  • Understanding of basic accounting, and data entry management.
  • Computer proficiency
  • CPR w/AED & First Aid certification.
