PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Associate Regional Compliance Officer (ARCO), Thomas Jefferson University ndash; Center City, will be responsible for assisting the Regional Compliance Officer (RCO) in the oversight of all activities, functions, and initiatives related to the development, implementation, oversight, and maintenance of the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program, which, in addition to fraud, waste and abuse compliance activities, includes: confidentiality, and other corporate-wide information governance initiatives; (ii) general regulatory compliance activities; and (iii) enterprise-wide risk assessment, auditing, monitoring, and training activities designed to manage, eliminate, or reduce risks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:7+ years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service or related field required.EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Health Care Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field required. JD or Masterrsquo;s degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:Healthcare Compliance Certification from the Compliance Certification Board (ldquo;CCBrdquo;) within two (2) months of appointment and maintain such certification throughout employment.Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
