Responsibilities What does our Sr. Manager, Local Marketing Residential do? This role will assist in developing bottom up and top down translation of marketing plans for one of the 7 local regions of Rentokil Terminix, including development, planning, and execution of various marketing programs, advertising initiatives and product strategies in support of the organisation's growth goals and reputation. As a defined member for the MVP Cross Functional Leadership Team for a given region, works as an equal peer with the Director of Sales, Director of Marketing, and other LT members to develop growth plans. As the "head of marketing" for a region, has full accountability for marketing generated revenue and profitability from a region, developing the plans and ensuring seamless execution. Defines the needed AOP budget to support the growth needs of a region for Marketing, and sells that need in at both the regional and national levels. Influences other aspects of national Marketing (eg, Digital, Promotion) to ensure attainment of local / regional goals. Interprets business objectives, develops ideas, works with cross functional partners for feasibility, and then manages successful execution. Ensures that the local market needs are clearly embedded in all marketing executions, and ensures all national programs are translated to a local level. Assists Coordinating all local marketing budgets and spending for a region Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Works as a core member of the Market/Regional Leadership Team, along with their direct and immediate peers (specifically the Directors of Sales, Operations, HR and Finance) to ensure that the Marketing driven revenue for a region meets regional objectives. Drives the product, pricing, promotion, and placement strategies down to the local/regional execution level for a given region, including assistance with possibly redefining and reimagining the current national strategy to ensure that it is properly aligned with the region's strategic marketing needs. Heavily influences the Product Management leaders, as well as, the cross functional product management teams associated with a line of business, to adjust as appropriate the features and benefits of a product, including its seasonal availability, its pricing and national promotions, to remain highly competitive at the local level Defines the local promotion programs to generate leads and cross sells for a given region. Coordinates with the Digital Marketing team for the adjustment of media investment and internal websites changes to execute local / regional marketing plans and promotions for a given region Ensures campaigns and promotions, including email campaigns, appropriately match the local needs and realities of the marketplace to ensure both consistency and growth for a given region Heavily influences the Digital Marketing team responsible for online reputation management to reflect the needs of the local market. Conducts text analytics to identify trends, studies original source of leads within a region for potential changes to lead generation strategy for that market, and creates strategic recommendations on tactics to influence the reputation management capability managed nationally to generate positive online reviews and responses that meet the local needs and conditions of the local markets. Approve and track budget for local marketing expenditures for a given region Understand and guide efforts in design of local website versions to reflect local product, promotion and pricing requirements for a given region Develop local marketing field materials for field distribution, working with internal brand/creative teams or external suppliers as appropriate for a given region Build and manage a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals to supply marketing services for a given region Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning for a given region What do you need? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Business Development, Commercial, Marketing, or Economics related subject Master's Degree preferred Strong presentation skills are required. Deep knowledge of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management. Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate. Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must. Additionally, strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in cloud base Marketing Software Experience with the Google Platform is a plus. Experience with consumer branded products or services, including marketing training, customer relationship management (CRM), product demonstrations, and superior data analytics capability.
