InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Maintenance Technician. This position supports the overall function of installing, repairing, and maintaining property, equipment and machinery associated with the manufacturing process. Position supports related maintenance functions including mechanical, electrical work, tool & die, building maintenance and HVAC. Candidates selected for this position must successfully complete screening requirements and a 50-working day probationary period. Please note this opportunity is part of a bargaining unit rooted in seniority principles consequently shifts are not guaranteed. Applicants should be available to work any shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs, and maintains equipment and machinery used in and supporting the manufacture of product.
• Repairs, maintains, and modifies facilities and property.
• Works with other craftsman in support of ancillary functions such as machine maintenance & repair, fixturing, electrical work, tool & die work, building maintenance or HVAC.
• Regularly exposed to noise, dust, fumes, moving machinery and equipment.
• Requires the use of personal protective equipment including safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
• May require specialized equipment such as respirators or arc weld protection.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Two year degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant or equivalent experience in maintenance field may be substituted for education or training.
• Standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Requires the ability to work overhead.
• May require use of specialized protective equipment such as fall protection, respirator, or arc flash.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work performed in a manufacturing environment
