The team you'll be part of
The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

As a member of the Verizon Business Team, for our Cloud and Network Services, you will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deliver solutions that support Verizon's 5G Network transformation in an environment where innovation, trust and autonomy are encouraged, each team member selects the tasks to work on and exchanges daily with his/her teammates on progress and challenges.
What you will learn and contribute to
This position is for a strategic account manager to develop the Cloud and Network Services (CNS) business in with Verizon. This position will be responsible for account strategies, sales coverage plans, account plans, forecasting, and sales execution to meet or exceed our growth plan in support of Verizon 5G Core Network. The account manager will team with pre-sales, market services, Nokia account teams, and Cloud & Network Services leadership to ensure our customers see Nokia Cloud & Network Services in a trusted advisor role.
As part of our team, you will:
  • Develop strategy, tactics, and sales plans for the Verizon account.
  • Understand customer business pain points and key performance indicators established to meet their business objectives.
  • Position the Cloud & Network Services value proposition, demonstrating business benefits, and ROI differentiating Nokia from its competitors.
  • Partner with the broader Nokia sales team to leverage joint solutioning and effective sales execution.
  • Represent the organization at key sales development events (conferences, tradeshows, regional events, etc.).
Your skills and experience
You must have:
  • At lest 8 years of proven experience in direct sales, sales engineerig, or customer solutions architecture selling to Communication Service Providers.
  • Ability to understand at a high level the technical value proposition and then translate it into a business value position (i.e. consultative sales approach for selling solutions).
  • Understand Communications software, with prior employment experience in this space selling solutions such as OSS/BSS, Core (IMS, EPC), NFV, SDN and other related software technologies.
It would be nice if you also had:
  • The ability to think out-of-the-box with a background and proficiency in selling net-new solutions into an account
  • Should be able to manage at least >$5M annual sales quota and have documented history to have consistently met or exceed targets.
  • Thinks strategically and can follow through tactically.
  • Extremely focused, disciplined, and professionally persistent.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Customer-centric, consultative, as well as transactional: understands the market, its business, and challenges; and knows how to ask for the business.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of a random monthly to quarterly schedule - candidate should be able to work efficiently to maximize travel schedule, customer engagement, and internal demands.
  • Bachelor's degree.
