You will join our Municipal Water Operation department

As our new Plant Operator you will be part of field assignments based on client requirements. As a full-time Groundwater Treatment Operator based out of West Norriton, PA you will perform a wide range of mid-complex to complex tasks.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Performs daily operations and maintenance of groundwater treatment plants.
  • Serves as the backup operator on a variety of treatment plants in the NJ, PA regions.
  • Completes minor routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
  • Applies a working knowledge of fundamental principles and procedures within specific discipline.
  • Operates facilities with computer or PLC controls.
  • Monitors, regulates and adjusts chlorinators, chemical feed pumps, and other process equipment.
  • Collects samples and performs routine in-lab test as required.
  • Maintains a log of operations and maintenance activities and related records.
  • Operates system to maintain compliance with permit requirements.
  • Washes clarifiers, dissolved air flotation systems, contact basins, operates sludge handling equipment and other process unit equipment, as required.
  • Good knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required in the O&M of industrial facilities and ability to make routine laboratory and field tests for control of plant operations.
  • May operate a variety of the following types of equipment: forklift, aerial or scissor lifts, generator, compressors, pumps etc.
  • Participates actively in creating a safety culture at the jobsite.
  • Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm's Project Delivery Manual (PDM), Employee Manual and Corporate Health & Safety Manual.
