Job Description

Intern - Sales/Service Representative

Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, will be filling roles throughout the United States for students in college who have been chosen for the Internship program for the summer of 2019. All candidates for this role must apply, be currently in school as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior, and available to participate in a 11-week summer internship program. Candidates will be mentored by Account Managers or District Representatives residing in the districts.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
  • Assist in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Actively sell and support Nalco Champion innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Champion.
  • Possible travel within assigned sales territory
  • Must have strong Word and Excel skills

Location:

  • Throughout the US. Candidates must be willing to relocate for the 11 week internship to location.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently attending College as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior status
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Physical Demands:

  • May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
